Pedro Calungsod to be canonized on Oct. 21

Pope Benedict XVI announced on Saturday, February 18, the date for the canonization of Filipino martyr Blessed Pedro Calungsod and 6 others.

Calungsod will become the second Filipino saint when the Pope canonizes him on October 21, 2012.
